This page documents the extraordinary propensity of Democrat lawmakers in Lansing to vote as a bloc with zero dissension.

As shown in the table below, Democrats almost alway vote unanimously when they are in the majority (and therefore control which bills are brought to a vote). When Republicans have the majority, legislation is far more often voted with bipartisan support.
