No Article V Constitutional Convention
An "Article V" Constitutional Convention would be the greatest threat to the United States Constitution ever conceived.
Contrary to the claims peddled by its supporters, there is no effective way to limit or muzzle the actions of a constitutional Convention. The Convention could make its own rules and set its own agenda. Congress might try to limit the Convention to one amendment or to one issue, but there is no way to assure that the Convention would obey.
A runaway constitutional convention is the could completely destroy the what remains of the constitutional rights of citizens. It must be opposed in its entirety.
