Tell President Trump: Reconsider & Rescind Endorsement of Deep State Mike Rogers
President Trump just made what Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) accurately called "the worst Deep State candidate this cycle" when he endorsed Mike Rogers for U.S. Senate from Michigan.
"[Mike Rogers] is a never Trumper, and a card carrying member of the spy state that seeks to destroy Trump," Sen. Paul noted.

Text of Petition
WHEREAS: Rogers was instrumental in setting up the warrantless mass surveillance program, Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, which was weaponized against the 2016 Trump campaign, transition team, and administration -- not to mention used against law-abiding Americans hundreds of thousands of times; and
WHEREAS: Based on his history as Chair of the House Intelligence Committee as a servant of the surveillance state and one who repeatedly disparaged President Trump in national media, it's reasonable to conclude that Rogers would sabotage a future Trump administration if given the opportunity; and
WHEREAS: While nobody expects President Trump to endorse a candidate who voted to overthrow him, such as Peter Meijer or Justin Amash, he has multiple choices among candidates who support him and his agenda; and
WHEREAS: This decision will be devastating to the Trump campaign in Michigan. It is difficult to mobilize to support a candidate who not only endorses against the liberty interests of the American people, but against his very own political interest; and
WHEREAS: With the FBI on one side of the U.S. Senate race and CIA stooge Elissa Slotkin on the other, Michiganders may have no meaningful choice but a Deep State operative for their next U.S. Senator -- an odious, intolerable proposition; and
WHEREAS: Mike Rogers would be a stain on the November Republican ballot in Michigan;
THEREFORE: We call upon President Trump to reconsider and rescind his endorsement of Mike Rogers, and fire whoever made the recommendation.
