To see what House and Senate districts you live in (they just changed dramatically):
The Covid era has ushered in the worst deprivation of civil liberties in America since the Japanese internment of World War II. Citizens were denied their right to assembly, to worship, and to make their own personal medical conditions. Not only did the Whitmer administration impose these abuses, many local governments assumed powers the population never imagined they had. Even private companies required their employees take an experimental, ill-tested drug under threat of being fired.
1. Will you vote to end ALL emergency powers that delegate legislative power to the executive branch for more than 28 days, including the Emergency Management Act of 1976, which grants the governor emergency powers, and Sections 2253 and 2453 of the Public Health Code, which grants the Department of Health emergency powers?
2. Will you vote to prohibit any entity, public or private, from requiring proof of vaccination or any other drug usage as a condition of employment?
3. Will you vote to prohibit any government agency, including public schools and public transportation, from requiring masks to be worn?
4. Will you vote to prohibit local governments from imposing lockdowns, mask mandates, and vaccination or any other drug usage?
While the framers of the Constitution never envisioned an Internet, there’s no doubt that social media has replaced the public square as the place of public discourse. While these networks are privately-owned, consumer fraud is not protected as a property right, and courts have recognized that privately-owned public places like shopping malls do not have a right to discriminate against public consumers.
5. Will you vote to create an individual cause of action (lawsuit) against a social network that holds itself out as a free speech platform but censors its users based on content or viewpoint? (See HB 4801 of 2019, http://legislature.mi.gov/doc.aspx?2019-HB-4801)
6. Will you vote to classify social networks with over 1 million users in Michigan as a "public square" and prohibit censorship of speech on these platforms based on viewpoint or content, as long as the speech is not otherwise unlawful?
The 2020 election exposed massive security failures in Michigan’s election law, all of which were cynically exploited by those determined to overthrow the Trump administration. The Secretary of State flooded Michigan’s voter rolls, private organizations mailed millions of unsolicited absentee ballot applications and funded government get-out-the-vote campaigns in Democrat cities, ballot drop boxes with little to no security features were placed in cities, absentee ballot envelope signatures were not properly compared to the valid signature on file, IDs were never checked for absentee ballots, ballot harvesting was legalized by a partisan court, poll challengers were criminally impeded from performing their duties, and in Detroit, election officials hired Democrats to be poll workers over Republicans on the 30-to-1 basis.
7. If it is not resolved in 2022, will you vote to pass the “Secure MI Vote” citizen-initiated legislation (view it at securemivote.org), which would require ID to vote, prohibit private funding of public elections, regulate ballot drop boxes, and prohibit unsolicited mailing of absentee ballot applications?
8. Will you vote for House Bill 4962 of 2021, which would require election workers be appointed at a 1-to-1 partisan ratio if possible, in no circumstances greater than 2-to-1, and gives political parties first preference to select poll workers known to be genuine members of their party?
9. Will you vote for House Bill 4963 of 2021, which would require the Secretary of State adopt an objective signature verification standard consistent for all election purposes and which may not include a presumption of validity?
10. Will you vote for House Bill 4964 of 2021, which would restore confidence in Michigan elections by prohibiting ballot tabulating machines from connecting to the Internet?
11. Will you vote for House Bill 4965 of 2021, which would allow for “fact-finding” recounts in precincts deemed “un-recountable” due to “errors” in the reported total, as happened in many in Detroit precincts? The results could be considered by a court of law adjudicating election disputes.
12. Will you vote for House Bill 4966 of 2021, which would extend the period election records would need to be retained and allow a canvasser to rescind a vote to certify an election if the canvasser swears under penalty of perjury that the certification was made under duress?
13. Will you vote for House Bill 4967 of 2021, which would require security features for ballots, like colored inks, watermarks, and microprinting, to prevent ballot counterfeiting?
The Rescue Michigan coalition strongly believes that rights are inherent in the individual and only parents and legal guardians are the proper custodian of those rights until a child reaches age of majority. That custodianship does not authorize parents to perform unnecessary and permanently life-altering sexual mutilation.
14. Will you vote to prohibit and impose felony criminal penalties for doctors that perform irreversible medical sex-reassignment procedures on minors, including surgeries and prescribing puberty blockers?
15. Will you vote for a Michigan equivalent of Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Act, banning classroom instruction by school personnel or third parties on sexual orientation or gender identity in grade 3 and below?
16. Will you vote to eliminate Common Core and replace it with objective curricula that prohibit Critical Race Theory, such as Florida's "B.E.S.T." standards? (view them at
rescuemichigan.com/research/Flstandards.pdf)
17. Will you vote to protect women's sports under Title IX by prohibiting biological men (those with Y chromosomes) competing in women's sports in public schools and universities?
